| Kids Oneida's goal is to divert and reduce the number of children in Oneida County with serious behavioral and mental health disturbances from out-of-home placements. To shorten the time that children remain in such placements through the use of intensive, flexible, accessible, community-based services, which are designed to meet the individualized needs of children and families. | ||||||

Kids Oneida uses the individualized plan to purchase an array of community-based services from the network of providers in Oneida County. Plans of Care are updated every 3 months and include both traditional and non-traditional services. As needed, Kids Oneida will pay for care when an enrolled client enters an out-of-home placement. |
