EANNACE ANNOUNCES AWARD OF GRANTS TO VILLAGE AND TOWN OF BRIDGEWATER

Oneida County Executive Ralph J. Eannace Jr. announced today that a Press Conference will be held on April 19th, 2000 in front of the Bridgewater Municipal Building, at 404 Route 8 in the Town of Bridgewater. Eannace will announce two of the successful applicants to the Neighborhood Empowerment Works – NEW Neighborhoods Program. The conference will take place at 10AM (In the event of inclement weather the press conference will move into the Municipal Building).

Bridgewater Town Park Project

Project Description:

 The Town of Bridgewater will utilize funding for improvements to the Town of Bridgewater Park located near their municipal building. Activities will include the installation of a community bulletin board/welcome sign and landscaping the entire area. These activities are part of an overall beautification project to the park area.

The project timeline is as follows:

April, May, June: Site preparation
Laying out area for the cement slab
Order topsoil and concrete
July and August: Lay down/level fill and topsoil
Install concrete slab and walkways
September: Move Memorial Monument
Install Message/Welcome Sign and electric service
October, November: Finalize all phases of the project
