EANNACE: COUNTY WILL PAUSE TO REFLECT,
REMEMBER VICTIMS Oneida County Executive Ralph J. Eannace, Jr. has urged all Oneida County employees and county residents to observe a moment of silence at four separate times on Wednesday, September 11th. "Governor Pataki asked all New Yorkers to pause from their daily activities tomorrow, so that we may remember the victims of the terrorist attacks of one year ago:
I have urged all Oneida County employees to pause for a moment of silence during these times, and I urge all residents of Oneida County to join in this remembrance," Eannace said. "It's also my hope that as many families as possible will be able to attend one of the numerous events that are planned all over Oneida County tomorrow to commemorate the tragedies of a year ago," Eannace said. Eannace said Oneida County would also follow the Governor's directive that all United States and New York State flags be flown at half-staff from 8:46 a.m. through the remainder of the day. |
