The Oneida County Division of Traffic Safety coordinates the traffic safety efforts in Oneida County.  In cooperation with federal and state agencies along with local enforcement, engineering and educational organizations, it is the division's mission to create and maintain the safest possible environment on Oneida County's highways.  This division approves and administers local traffic safety grants and offers the National Traffic Safety Council's Defensive Driver Course and the "Alive at 25" Program.
